Public browsing

Reading this dictionary does not require an account. We do not load first-party visit statistics or Baidu Tongji, Cloudflare Web Analytics or the previous Visitor Analytics SDK.

Hosting

Cloudflare provides hosting and processes technical network information to deliver and protect the site under its own policies.

Administrator access

Only designated administrators can sign in with a username and password. Passwords are verified against a salted hash. An HttpOnly, Secure session cookie controls management access. ChatGPT sign-in and the old MCP/OAuth endpoints are no longer used.

Advertising

Image advertisements can link to external sites. If third-party advertising is configured, providers may use cookies or identifiers for delivery and measurement. Their code is loaded only after your advertising choice permits it and where regional eligibility allows it. Ads are not loaded in management pages.

Use Ad preferences to change your choice. Preferences are saved in this browser for up to 180 days. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control default third-party advertising to declined. Revoking a previous choice reloads the page without advertising; previously stored third-party cookies can be cleared in browser settings. Code advertising is withheld in the EEA, UK, Switzerland and when location is unknown, pending a suitable certified consent integration.

Editorial records and links

Entries, sources, revisions, drafts and update receipts are stored for editorial work. Private drafts are not available to anonymous visitors. Linked websites have their own privacy policies.
